About Pete & Cori
Pete and Cori have been practising Iyengar Yoga for more than 25 years and are certified by Iyengar Yoga UK. They both trained with advanced level teacher Jayne Orton at Iyengar Yoga Birmingham and continue to attend classes, workshops and professional training with senior teachers from the UK and India.
Pete is a level 2 teacher and has had a long term interest in mindful bodywork having practised Tai Chi and Kung Fu prior to discovering Iyengar Yoga. He is also a qualified masseur.
Cori is a level 3 teacher and has attended classes at RIMYI (Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Institute) in Pune, India. Iyengar Yoga helped her to gain physical strength and recovery from a series of injuries sustained while practising trapeze and circus in her twenties and she also found it gave her a sense of improved mental and emotional well-being. She says "Yoga is a powerful tool to help develop self awareness and take responsibility for your own physical, emotional and spiritual health." She is particularly interested in functional bodywork and the therapeutic potential of yoga.
